St. Amant High School is very fortunate to have the best Sports Medicine Team in the state. This team consists of Athletic Trainers, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists as well as Student Athletic Training Aides.

Across the State of Louisiana, athletic trainers are providing their clinical skills and expertise each and every day for the athletes at their schools. According to a study conducted by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the presence of an athletic trainer in the secondary schools setting, has the ability to decrease injury rates, improves diagnosis and return to play decisions, reduces the risk for recurrent injuries as well as decreases the out of pocket expense for families and schools.

St. Amant High School is fortunate to benefit from the BROC Foundation. The Broc Foundation provides a full time certified athletic trainer to our school at no cost.
